Hi, i'm jayson howe

I’m a Bay Area educator who believes curiosity, compassion, and a little chaos belong in every classroom. My teaching is grounded in Responsive Classroom principles and shaped by my experience as a tinkerer, coach, and associate teacher. Whether I’m guiding a Number Corner conversation or coaching students through the design process as they build a Mario Kart out of wood and zip ties, I focus on helping students take risks, ask better questions, and become thoughtful members of their community.

I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching and am currently completing my California teaching credential. I’m eager to continue growing into lead teaching roles where equity, creativity, and joyful learning are central to the work.
